CV Made Better is made up of a group of senior recruitment consultants all of whom have worked within the recruitment industry for the last ten years. In this time we have all acted on behalf of a wide range of clients including many leading blue chip companies/organisations. Throughout our careers we have attended many professional writing recruitment courses and seminars. This combined with recruitment industry knowledge and experience has led us to become experts in cv writing and presentation.
As the founder of this site I oversee all cv's personally. My career started in September 1997 when I began working for an IT recruitment consultancy. This was my first experience of the commercial employment sector and I quickly started placing people into permanent and contract positions. These ranged from designers to project managers, within a year the company promoted me to senior consultant.
In March 1999 I joined an international recruitment business that place people into jobs across a wide range of industry sectors. During the five years I spent with this company I was assigned to work with a number of their divisions, and was recruiting people for a wide range of roles, giving me invaluable experience of Global and UK recruitment.
At the beginning of 2004 I was head hunted by a leading UK engineering and technical recruitment consultancy, for which I still work for on a part time basis. Where I am involved in the placement of senior project engineering and technical staff for assignments all over the globe.
Since starting this site in March 2007 we have written hundreds of cv's. All of which were carefully written and presented to have the strongest possible appeal to potential employers, rather than being just a typed summary of someone's personal and employment history. They were designed to show a person's true potential, and utilise methods such as key words and powerful presentation techniques to make them stand out from the crowd.
